- Comments: Anyone who enjoys reading and writing stories or poems will enjoy helping to produce Caedmon.
- Open to: All grades
- Season: Spring
- Practices: Usually work is done during study hall. One 3 - 4 hour session on a weekend, time determined by student's availability, is the only out of class time required.
- Purpose/Goal: The student editorial board selects the content and layout for the magazine each year.
News Tribune Teen Reporter
- Moderator: News Tribune Staff

- Comments: No experience is necessary but an ability and interest in writing is recommended.
- Open to: All grades
- Season: School year
- Purpose/Goal: To write and submit articles to the News Tribune for publication in “The Word”. All coordinated through the News Tribune and is outside of the governance of Saint Bede Academy. All students are encouraged to contact the newspaper for specific interests and requirements.
Science Club

- Comments: This club discusses ideas, plans scientific trips, performs demonstrations and works on projects.
- Open to: All grades
- Season: School year
- Practices: Meetings are Wednesday after school
- Purpose/Goal: To investigate the scientific behaviors, phenomena and laws of nature for curious students.
Spanish Club
- Moderator: Mrs. Leann Wilcoxen

- Open to: All students currently enrolled in Spanish
- Season: School year
- Cost: Approx. $1.00
- Practices: Meetings and events are scheduled throughout the year
- Transportation: School bus if off campus
- Purpose/Goal: To give students an additional opportunity to practice speaking Spanish as well as to learn more about Hispanic countries. We cover Hispanic food, art and culture.
