Student Ambassador Team

• Comments:  Ambassadors is an organization of junior and senior students that share their experiences of Saint Bede with grade school students and parents. Throughout the school year the team members promote Saint Bede by speaking at and hosting a wide range of events.
• Open to:  Junior & Senior boys and girls, tryouts take place during Sophomore year
• Season:  Year-round, most time during school year
• Cost:  Approx. $15.00
• Covered in Cost:  Ambassador Team shirt
• Personal Equipment:  A positive attitude about St. Bede, good communication skills, creativity, an outgoing personality, an ability to have fun with younger students
• Meetings:  Practice/meetings are usually during study halls and homeroom times. Most events are during the school day; a few are in the evening. Some events during the summer.
• Transportation:  School van
• Purpose/Goal:  To share knowledge and experiences of Saint Bede with grade school students and their parents with the purpose of attracting students to come to Saint Bede Academy for their high school education.

Pep Club

• Comments:  Be willing to decorate school, pep assemblies and build signs. Attend and support SBA events and activities. Decorate for homecoming football game.
• Open to:  All grades

• Cost:  Approx. $5.00
• Personal Equipment:  Commitment and positive attitude
• Practices:  Meet during school study halls, after school and some week-ends
• Transportation: 
• Purpose/Goal:  Show school spirit! Support all athletic teams in a positive, sporting manner.  Be leaders while attending the games discouraging negative cheering and derogatory behavior.

Prom Committee

• Comments:  Be willing to participate in occasional fundraising efforts.

• Practices:  Meetings during homeroom usually on Wednesdays
• Purpose/Goal:  Raise funds for Prom. Work to make Prom successful.

St. Bede Academy Student Government (SBASG)

• Practices:  Meet as determined by Executive Board.
• Purpose/Goal:  To promote the interests of St. Bede Academy and it’s students. To provide leadership training to elected students.

 Yearbook

• Comments:  Need students who believe in teamwork and are dedicated.
• Open to:  All grades, upper classmen are encouraged to join

• Practices:  Meetings on campus entail photo selection, page layout and typing.
• Purpose/Goal:  Learn writing, layout & techniques and a sense of design.
