• Today is our weekly collection for our Lenten charities in religion classrooms.   Recall that our goal is, at least, $2.50 per person per week toward our Lenten charities.

• The guidelines and release form for the Homecoming dance have been posted on Teacher Ease.  You are responsible for reading the information, printing the release form, and signing up for the dance next week according to the guidelines. Ticket sales will begin Monday, March8. Go to the Collaborative Room in the PSC from 7:25-7:45 am Monday through Thursday next week. A signed release form is required is required with the $10 payment. Please see Mrs. Manning with questions about the sign-up process.

• Rosary tomorrow at the very beginning of lunch in the blessed sacrament chapel on the 1st floor.  You will still have time to eat your lunch after the rosary.

• Any girl interested in playing volleyball needs to email Coach Bosnich if you have not already joined google classroom. There is a MANDATORY google meet on Sunday evening. First practice for ALL levels is Monday morning at 6 AM! More information to come on Sunday evening!

• The Utica Business Assoc. is looking for volunteers to help decorate the town for St. Patrick’s Day and the Utica Knights of Columbus need volunteers to help at their Friday fish fry’s during lent.  Check your student email for details.

• CONGRATULATIONS to the top 10 students in the class of 2021:Alyssa Heitz, Lucy Kleczewski, Audrey Lopez, Isabelle Monroe, Nicholas Pearse, Nathan Potthoff, Jacob Schirz, Emily Szczepaniak, Elaina Wamhoff, and Cassie Williams. • We’re happy to announce that there will be a homecoming dance for St. Bede students! Seniors and Juniors will have their dance on Saturday, March 20, and Freshmen and Sophomores will be on Sunday, March 21. Both events will be from 7-9 pm. The cost will be $10 per person. Students will only be able to attend the dance with their grade level. Listen to announcements this week for the day that you may pick up the required paperwork from Mrs. Manning. The information sheet will require a parent and student signature in order for you to attend.

The water fountains are bagged up as to NOT have people drinking from there due to COVID-19 restrictions. This holds true for faucets in the restrooms: DO NOT drink from the faucets in the bathroom’s once your mouth touches the faucet it is now contaminated and creates an east way to spread ALL viruses.

• Student-Athletes you MUST park in the student parking lot and walk to the gym for your practices No parking in the lane, courtyard, or outside the gym. We will start issuing discipline for students who park in any other location.

• We will be warm and well-fed during the forecasted cold spell.  Many of our sisters and brothers will not.  Please bring in food items to fill the blue cart.

•  Our Donor of the Day is David Padilla. Mr. Padilla is a 1990 graduate and he is a Regional Sales Director at Abbott, who excelled in basketball and tennis while at St. Bede. We are blessed with his kindness and generosity. Please keep David in a special prayer of thanks today.

• The faculty and staff would like to thank Mr. McGunnigal and the Ambassadors for the gifts and treats that have been given us this week for Catholic Schools week.  You are AWESOME!

• Today is the feast of St. Blaise. Fr. Ronald will come to F Period classes to give the blessing of throats.

• Today is the 115th anniversary of the death of Fr. Gilbert Simon and three students who drowned after falling through the ice. Fr. Gilbert saved many of the students who had been ice skating, but finally drowned as well.  There is a memorial on the first floor.

• Scholastic Bowl practice today after school in the Art Studio.  Match at Orion on tomorrow bus leaving at 3:15
