  • Our Donor of the Day is Merlyn Rauh. Mr. Rauh is a 1972 graduate and lives in St. Charles, IL.  We are blessed with his generosity and support. Please keep him in a special prayer of thanks today

  • Heritage Club would like to welcome our newest Bruins to St. Bede! Please join our group if you want to participate in new cultural experiences and meet new people. Information about Heritage Club can be found in our Google Classroom. The code to join is lmaz47. Membership dues are $15 and this money must be turned in to Mrs. Gonzalez or Mrs. Rynkewicz no later than Friday, August 23rd.

  • Fall Sports photos are Friday August 23rd after school in the Quad. 

  • Tomorrow Spirit Week theme is camouflage day! 

  • Mrs. Horst's Period H class will meet in the Perino Science Center before going to the Little Theater together. All of her other classes will meet in the Collaboration Room. 

  • The Interact Club will be selling St. Bede Lanyards again this year. They will be set up outside the refectory during lunch periods tomorrow and Wednesday. The cost of a Lanyard is $3. 

  • All students driving to school are required to have a parking tag for the 2019-2020 school year. The cost is $20. Students must have their tag by Friday, August 23, 2019. The Parking Permit forms can be picked up in the Business Office before or after school. All forms must be signed by the student and a parent.

  • A yearbook photo will be taken in the science center of students that are dressed in today’s theme. Please meet if you would like to be in the photo 

  • Student government executive board needs to meet in Mrs. Manning’s room during homeroom today. 

  • Student government will meet tomorrow morning is Mrs. Manning’s classroom.

Our Donor of the Day is Rick and Rebecca Bodnum. Rick graduated in 1985 and Rebecca in 1987 and live in Darien, IL. We are blessed with their friendship and support. Please keep them in a special prayer of thanks today.

  • School pictures are today in the Abbey Church Little Theatre: Classes will be escorted over during their English period. ALL students must get a photo taken regardless if you are purchasing pictures or not. You will also receive your photo ID at this time. Faculty and staff must update their pictures as well during your free period. 

  • Today is the last day to sign up for the dodgeball tournament. Everyone is welcome! Teams will be announced next week and the competition will be Wednesday night. We hope to see you! 

  • Next week is 50th anniversary of Spirit Week! Monday kicks off with the theme dress day of ‘Merica Monday. Wear your red, white, and blue. Remember, if you are participating, your outfit should be modestly appropriate for school. If you decide not to participate, regular dress code applies. Check out the awesome posters in the PSC to see the themes for the week.

  • All Ambassadors should check in the Admissions Office today during their study hall for a work project 

  • STUDENTS if you arrive to school before the 7:30 bell you MUST remain in the student commons until the bell rings. Only exceptions are if you have an appointment with an instructor.

Our Donor of the Day is Thomas Acker. Mr. Acker is 1950 graduate and lives in Alton, IL. He is loyal and generous supporter for decades and we are blessed with his kindness. Please keep him in a special prayer of thanks today.

  • Today we are on a modified mass schedule. There will be no homeroom. 

  • Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students need to provide their spirit day t-shirt size to the student government representatives at lunch. They will be at a table outside the refectory today and tomorrow. No orders will be taken on Friday. All students that do not provide a size will have a large assigned to them. No payment is necessary, as the amount is included in your student fees. 

  • Senior students that would like to order spirit day shorts will have to pay $10 to the representatives outside the refectory and provide the size they’d like to have. No orders will be taken without a payment. The deadline is TODAY. Mrs. Manning will accept payments in her classroom (231) until 2:45 pm if you aren’t able to sign up at lunch. Again, no orders will be taken on Friday. 

  • All students should follow the schedule that is in teacher ease at this time. If you printed your schedule several days ago you need to double check that it is still the same schedule that is in teacher ease today. If you have a question or problem see Ms Bernabei. 

  • Any student who thinks they may need a schedule change needs to see Ms. Bernabei by Monday, Aug 19th. There will be no schedules changes made after this date.

  • Reminder of meeting times today: 10th grade period G, 11th grade period C, and 12th grade period H: Report for your designated class period to the Abbey Church Little Theatre.
