  • This month's food pantry collection is in honor of Fr. Dominic's birthday. He will be turning 64 on the 25th, so we're asking the school to bring in 640 pounds of food for the food pantry in Spring Valley.  We're starting a little late so we'll keep collecting until Tuesday of next week. The religion class with the largest collection will get homemade treats from Fr. Dom!   

  • Everyone interested in joining the “AAAA” that is … the Academy Anime Association of the Academy, we will meet in the Refectory after school today from 2:50 to 3:45.

  • Congratulations to seniors Andrea Brandner and Alan Spencer for being selected as Teens of the Month by the Oglesby Elks Club! One goal of the Elks Teen of the Month program is to give recognition to the students & teenagers who strive diligently above the rest to become more of a complete citizen and individual.  Students are selected for this honor on the basis of Character, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, Community Service, Scholarship and Best Multiple Achievements. These two students excel in all of these areas. They are role models to all and we are proud to have them in our Bruin family!

  • All freshman, sophomore and juniors will be taking the PSAT tomorrow.  Remember to bring your fully charged Chromebook and power cord, photo ID, pencil, approved calculator and a snack & drink. We will not have extra calculators available the morning of the test so make arrangements now if you need to borrow one. Be in your assigned testing room and ready to begin at 7:50 am.  Remember that you will NOT be allowed to open your locker after the test. Put anything you need to take home in your backpack and take it into the testing room.  See your email for more reminders. Go to bed early and eat a good breakfast so you can perform your best!
