• St Bede finished 4th at a multi-team meet in Oregon last night. The team was led by Dominik Avila and Adrian Hermosillo finishing 16th and 17th. Also helping the Bruins were RJ Hermosillo 19th, Bryce Keckler 21st, Mason Haskell 22nd, Joe Savitch 26th, Jonathan Ma 30th, Chris Gedraitis 32nd,  Eric Du 33rd, Graham Ross 34th, Preston Vasquez 38th, and Devin Stiel 44th.  For the Lady Bruins they were led by Jemma Finley who finished 3rd, and Yasenia Avila 16th. Next meet is Saturday at the Boiler Invitational in Kewanee.

The F/S finished 4th and were led by Dominik Avila 23rd, Adrian Hermosilo 24th, Joe Savitch 35th, Mason Haskell, Bryce Keckler 40th, Jonathan Ma 59th, For the Varsity Boys they were led by R.J. Hermosillo 89th, Chris Gedraitis 101st, Graham Ross 120th, Preston Vasquez 123rd, Eric Du 146h and Devin Steil 171st. For the Varsity girls Jemma Finley was 24th, and 124th. Great job.

Top 5 and scoring for the boys were Dominik Avila, Adrian Hermosillo, Mason Haskell and Joe Savitch. Next race is Saturday at Peoria. Yesenia Avila was 3rd overall. Also competing for the boys were Preston Vasquez, RJ Hermosillo, Bryce Keckler, Graham Ross, Eric Du, and Devin Steil.

• Huge shout out to all those who helped the Cross-Country team run a home meet yesterday, Thank you Mrs. Manning for covering the corner. The Boys team won and Chris Gedraitis led the way with a 6th place finish. Also Adrian Hermosillo, Dominik Avila, Bryce Keckler, Mason Haskell, Joe Savitch, Graham Ross, Eric Du, and Devin Steil all had personal best times. Ladies were led by Jemma Finley who finished 2nd, along with Yesenia Avila, and Lin Lin who too had personal best times. Go Bruins.

• SBASG organized a CAUCUS to determine dressup days for Catholic Schools Week.

• Reminder: All students who drive to school must register their car and display the parking hang tag in your car at all times.  Forms are available in the Business Office and tags are $20 for the entire school year.

• The main office has in their possession a pair of red sunglasses left from the dance, a retainer, a FORD key, and a ring.  If you are missing one of these items, please stop by the main office to claim.

• Mark your calendars: Tuesday, September 16 from 5:00-9:00pm, the St. Bede Girls Tennis Team will be fundraising at Chipotle in Peru. 25% of sales go to the team with presentation of flyers or using the code listed on the flier if ordering online or in the app. Check your emails for the flier, or see Mr. Steben or Mr. Armato.
