St. Bede Academy has been providing quality Catholic education in North Central Illinois for over 116 years. While we pride ourselves in our rich history and tradition, we understand the ever-changing needs of students today. Our goal is to provide students with an education that will not only develop their minds, but also strengthen their character preparing them for life's challenges.

As a college preparatory school, we ensure our students will be ready to continue their education. Currently, 97% of our students attend some type of post-secondary schooling. Our average A.C.T. score in 2008 of 22.1 was above the State(20.7) and National(21.1) averages.  15% of the graduating class of 2008 had a GPA of 4.0 and above.  14.75% of the senior class of 2008 were selected as Illinois State Scholars. An amazing 98% of St. Bede students participate in extra-curricular activities. Our objective is to keep students busy! Every experience is a life lesson. The more they do, the more they learn.
