  • Our Donor of the Day is Kurt Flaherty. Mr. Flaherty is a 1968 Golden Bedan graduate and lives in Springfield, IL. We are blessed with his kindness and generous support for decades. Please keep him in a special prayer of thanks today.

  • All of our themed dress days have come to an end. REMIDER: Sandals must have a strap around the heel. Slide on sandals or flip flops are not allowed and students will start receiving detentions when found in violation. Please review the dress code on pages 24 and 25 of the Parent Student Planner. 

  • Please dismiss Cross Country runners at 2:20 for meet tonight 

  • Sign up to join our international students on a trip to Six Flags Fright Fest on Saturday, October 19. Cost is $57. If you've already signed up, your money is due to Mrs. Wagner by Thursday October 3.or you will not receive a ticket. 

  • Picture retakes are this Thursday. Seniors you may wear your dress clothes all day if you prefer or change into your uniform when you are finished. Underclassmen you will have your photos taken the first 2 periods of the day. You will be dismissed by class. 

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Nathan Potthoff who over the weekend captures 3rd place at the Princeton Invitational tournament and also to Jake Delaney and Brandon Pillion who finished 12th and 11th at the TRAC frosh-soph tournament yesterday. 

  • The following students will be gone all day tomorrow for girls golf: Andi Cattani , Camille Carlson, Alyssa Heitz, Ally Mendoza ,Paige Pyszka, Gianna Grivetti. Good luck ladies. 

  • Duck Adoption for Illinois Valley YMCA Duck Derby - Collect donations for Duck adoptions. Forms are available now to pick up at St Bede in Mrs. Gengler’s office and the main office. For every 12 ducks students get adopted they will receive one hour of community service. Duck adoption forms and donation money need to be turned in at the YMCA front desk in care of Peggy Cain or to Mrs. Gengler at St Bede by Oct 31st. 

    HOMEROOM MEETINGS 

  • All seniors need to report to the refectory during homeroom and bring a writing utensil. 

  • Meeting for all Stage Rats during homeroom in the Loft, to discuss Theatre Fest, T-shirts and a field trip to St. Ambrose
