  • Make sure to kick off homecoming weekend at the variety show! Come support the students who have been working hard this week to create a great show!  The first act will begin at 7pm, doors will open at 6:30.

  • There will be a Fall Play Crew meeting during homeroom on Tuesday, October 6 in Mrs. Smith’s Room—202. If you are interested in being part of the crew, please come to the meeting.

  • Due to the Homecoming festivities this Friday, the next Chess Club meeting will not meet this Friday. The next meeting will be announced soon and posted in the Chess Club Google Classroom.

  • Ambassadors, check your email for messages from Mr. Steben

  • If you have not purchased a homecoming ticket and would like to, please see Mrs. Theisinger in room 102! Time is running out. STUDENTS- if you purchased a homecoming ticket, you were sent an email yesterday morning. If you DID NOT RECEIVE an email, it means I do not have you listed as purchasing a ticket or attending the dance. Please see Mrs. Theisinger if you think this is an error!

  • If you are bringing a guest from a different school to the homecoming dance, they need to bring some form of ID with them!

  • Great job to the Gentlemen of your Bruin golf team, who advanced to sectionals on Monday, led by Gavin Lamboley who finished in 2nd place with a 79. Great job, golfers!

  • A college rep from University of Chicago will be in the PSC on Tuesday morning from 7:30 – 8:25 am to answer your questions about your college applications and their college in general. All students are invited to stop at the table, ask questions and learn about the University of Chicago.

  • On Tuesday next week Ms. Aubrie McDermott, a FAFSA professional, will be available in the Loft during E1 study hall and both lunch periods to help seniors get started on their FAFSA.  See your email for info about the FAFSA and setting up your account.

  • Gud Mawnin (GOOD MAW-nin) Belize travelers! This is a friendly Belizean Kriol greeting used to wish someone a pleasant start to their day. There are only 177 days until we arrive in Belize, home of the second-largest barrier reef system in the world and the iconic Great Blue Hole! Please check your student email for important travel information.  There are also 4 students who have not entered their passport numbers into their EF account.  This needs to be done asap! Your airline ticket cannot be purchased without this information.

  • Students, please be reminded that you may stop by the Shelter anytime between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM before today’s variety show to grab a bite to eat. Mr. Armato, Mr. Massamba, and Dr. Lawrence will be grilling hot dogs.
