  • SAT Word of the Day:

    • upbraid (v.) to criticize or scold severely 

      • The last thing Lindsay wanted was for Lisa to UPBRAID her again about missing the rent payment.

  • WYSE (Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering) and the IVCC Edible Car Competitions are this month. Registration is on science club classroom. Use the class code in announcements to sign up: Deadline is Wednesday, Feb 11th!

  • ALL Juniors will take the SAT on Tuesday, March 24th. See your email for test prep opportunities.

  • IVCC will host an in-person SAT prep class. Registration deadline is Feb 27th or until seats are full.  Sign up early!  This class will be cancelled if enough students don’t sign up. See the SAT email sent yesterday for the link.

  • The Heritage Club invites you to join Lunar New Year preparation activities in the Loft on Tuesday, Feb. 10 during homeroom. We will make floral sachets and paper crafts ahead of the celebration on Feb. 17. See Viola Ren and Lisa Huang for details!

  • Freshmen: if you are interested in hosting an 8th grader during the upcoming Shadow Days, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, February 10 during homeroom in the Refectory. 

  • Tomorrow, SBASG is excited to be sponsoring a SOUPer bowl Sunday Jeans Day for the Food Pantry! Students may bring in 2 cans of soup OR pay $3. Students can wear jeans in good condition and a football jersey, football top, or a St. Bede top!
