  • Attention Mathletes!!  There will be an informational meeting about the American Math Competition that will take place this fall on Wednesday 9/16 in room 210 during homeroom!!  See you then!

  • Heritage Club members can find information about a movie and snack event in Google Classroom. Interest must be completed by Wednesday at 3pm. Use the Google Classroom code in the announcements.

  • 1000 Recordings Club meets this Thursday. Sign up today outside Mr. Steben’s today to join us for lunch and music!

  • Lets try 1 more time! We need 10 volunteers to paint the stripes in the parking lot on Sunday. We will meet in the Art Studio on Thursday during homeroom.

  • Seniors: want to make a truly unique memory during your last year at the Academy? Then sign up to be the Bruin mascot for a game or event today! The chance to sign up for a priceless unforgettable memory is right outside Mr. Steben’s office - sign up today!

  • Congratulations to the following freshmen who were elected to serve as Class Representatives on SBASG for the 2026-2027 school year: Lovelyn Beck, Jerry Bu, Caleb Cass, Leo Engels, Kenlee Heider, Tripp McClain, Brendon Suarez, and Gio Zepeda. Great job to all who campaigned! Newly elected freshmen should also check their email for a message regarding committee preferences.

  • Guest request forms are available for the homecoming dance beginning today. Students will get these from Mrs. Theisinger as well as return them to her office. Stop in anytime to get one! Guest request forms are only necessary if a student is bringing a guest from a different school! They are ONLY available for pickup Monday, September 14- Friday, September 18. Guest request forms will need to be turned in prior to purchasing a ticket! Do not wait until the last minute to get your or return your guest request form. Please see Mrs. Theisinger with any questions.

  • Homecoming dance tickets go on sale beginning next week. They can be purchased during both lunches Monday, September 21-Friday, September 25! Tickets are $20 each and can be paid via cash or check.

  • Alicia Barreras, Lila Koehler, Mary Simonetta, Elsie Soliman, and Macy Strauch: please check your emails for a message from Mr. Steben for details about today’s Holy Cross visit.
