• Congratulations to the following artists who had their work accepted for inclusion to the Emerging Artist Show at Illinois Valley Art Works. Kami Nauman, Coco Jiang, Jonathan Ma, Stella Denny, Olivia DePue & Isabella van de Berg. The show will open June 12 and run through July in the Westclox building.

• Dunk a monk! Fr. Ronald will be in a dunk tank this Saturday, the 16th, from 1-2 in the afternoon. Help him raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. The dunk tank will be in Peru in the parking lot of the Habitat Restore behind CVS Pharmacy and near Aldi's.

We have a variety of roles available. It’s a great way to get involved, support the school, and be part of one of St. Bede’s biggest events of the year!

• Attention ALL students- if you are interested in being a member of SBASG as a class representative during the 2026-2027 school year, please see Mrs. Theisinger for a petition! She is out of the office this morning, but petitions can still be given out when she is in. Elections will be held next Friday, May 15. The sooner you start your campaign, the better!

• Wanting to see your peers all dressed up and ready for prom? Couples will be announced Saturday in the gym starting at 4:30 p.m.

• AP Testing begins MONDAY. If you have an 8 a.m. exam you should arrive at 7:30 a.m. If you have a 12:00 p.m. exam you should arrive at 11:30 a.m. If your testing interferes with your lunch see Mrs. Nambo to set up arrangements.

• All students are invited to attend a College Fair next Tuesday, April 28th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Putnam County High School.  There will be dozens of admissions reps from highly selective colleges in attendance.  Duke, Harvard, John’s Hopkins, Rice, Notre Dame, NYU, Northwestern, and Yale, just to name a few.  Advanced registration is requested. • Attention Seniors: the date of the senior picnic has been moved one day earlier to Thursday, April 30. Seniors are encouraged to wear a shirt, sweatshirt (hoodies included), or other gear from the college they plan to attend. If you are not participating in College Decision Day, you should be in your regular school uniform.

• Students attending the Ag Careers field trip on Friday need to complete the online sign up and turn in the signed permission form ASAP. 

• 9th, 10th & 11th grade students need to check their 26/27 course requests in TeacherEase.  See your email for instructions on how to find this info. See Ms. Bernabei ASAP if you see any errors or have questions.

• 1000 Recordings Club meets this Thursday. New members can sign up outside Mr. Steben’s office!

• If you have been paying attention to the SAT Words of the Day, there will be a vocab quiz for prizes for top performers during homeroom this Friday. Be on the lookout for a signup form.

• Poor form tackling is a GRIEVOUS way to play defense.

• Prom tickets will be on sale starting today-Wednesday next week. Tickets are $70 PER ticket. Guest request forms must be turned into Mrs. Nambo prior to or at the time of purchase.

• St. Bede’s “Promiere” is making a return! Couples will be announced in the gym prior to the dance. Students will need to register in order to be added to the line up (check your email tomorrow afternoon). Spectators, stay tuned for more information!

• AP testing begins May 4th at 8:00 a.m. – May 16th. Students registered for exams need to be checking the testing schedule and notify teachers if you will miss their class.

• If you are a student interested in sports photography, Mr. Steben is looking for summer camp photographers. If you are interested, please click the link in the announcements and fill out the registration form. This is a great way to practice your photography and earn service hours at the same time. Sign up by this Friday, April 10.

• Students interested in attending the Agriculture Careers trip to IVCC on April 17, check your email in TeacherEase for the sign-up link and see Ms. Bernabei for the permission form.
