    • The needlework in the bride’s gown was a product of METICULOUS handiwork.

  • All seniors attending the Illinois Holocaust Museum field trip MUST meet in the refectory during homeroom on Tues., Oct. 28, BEFORE GOING TO ANY OTHER MEETING. ACC students going on the trip MUST get to school before the start of homeroom on Oct. 28.

  • Attention Scholastic Bowl shirt order deadline is Thursday evening at 11:59pm

  • All football players and the varsity volleyball team received yearbook surveys Friday in an email.  If you have not completed it, please complete it as soon as possible.

  • Seniors and their parents are invited to the FAFSA Completion Night at IVCC for individual help completing and submitting your FAFSA form. All seniors attending any college after graduation should submit the FAFSA even if you don’t think you qualify for the free money.  This is required for student loans and to receive scholarship money. Any family in the IVCC district can attend this event even if you don’t plan to go to IVCC after graduation.

  • The Explore IVCC Open House is Nov 4th 5:50 – 7 pm.  RSVP at this link to get free stuff!  https://www.ivcc.edu/admissions/exploreivcc.php. 

  • Seniors, are you ready to submit your college applications? The Nov 1st early application deadline is approaching fast!

  • AMC math competition practice will be this week on Thursday at 2:45pm in room 210.  See you there!

BRUIN SPORTSCENTER

  • Congratulations to the boys and girls' cross-country team. The boys team qualified for next week's section meet in Rock Island by finishing 6th place overall. The team was led by RJ Hermosillo, Dominik Avila, Byrce Keckler, Mason Haskell, Adrian Hermosillo, Joe Savitch, Graham Ross. The ladies had Jemma Finley finish fifth overall and qualified as an individual for next week's race also in Rock Island. Yesenia Avila finished 48th to end her season. Thanks to all the fans, family and friends who were there to cheer us on.
