SAT Word of the Day:

  • orthodox (adj.) conventional, conforming to established protocol 

    • The company’s profits dwindled because the management pursued ORTHODOX business policies that were incompatible with current trends.

  • There will be a Podcast Club meeting this Friday after school in room 213. New members are always welcome.

  • All seniors going on the IHM field trip MUST bring their signed permission slip and $15 (at the SAME TIME) to Mrs. Rynkewicz by 3pm on Friday, Oct. 31st.

  • Volunteers are needed to give blood next Tuesday as Saint Bede, in conjunction with American Red Cross, will host a blood drive next Tuesday - November 4th in the Perino Science Center - workers and their blood are both needed! Permission slips will be available at the table outside of the refectory for the rest of the week. Stop by and pick one up so you too can be a donor.

  • Volunteers are needed to work Volleyball tournaments at Academy of St. Carlo Acutis on November 7th & 8th as well as November 21st & 22nd. See Mr. Davy to sign up to volunteer and earn Service Hours!

  • With Christmas right around the corner, there are volunteer opportunities ready to kick off the holiday season that need our help. If you would like to volunteer for the Frosty on First Celebration on Saturday, November 8, the City of LaSalle needs volunteers to help supervise their winter activities downtown. Sign up for 2 hour shifts outside Mr. Steben’s office ASAP!

  • Reminder tomorrow is the last day to order scholastic bowl team hockey sweaters  at   https://sba-scholastic-bowl-2025.itemorder.com/. 

  • Scholastic Bowl Practice Thursday after school in the Art Studio.

  • On your way home today pick up a copy of today's Bureau County Republican and read up on your lady Bruin golfers who made the BCR All Area Team Honorable mention Quinn Entrican, Gaby Martinez  and Breanna Martinez. First team Aliyanna Arteaga, Mae Hagenbuch and the BCR Golfer of the Year Anna Cyrocki. Congratulations ladies!
